Directions to the North Rim Grand Canyon and Road Map. 

The North Rim has a collection of trails leading to spectacular views of the Grand Canyon as well as trails that will challenge the most avid hiker.  Cape Royal and Angels Window must have the most spectacular view in the Grand Canyon and give a nice glimpse of the raging waters of the Colorado River. Cape Final is a nice walk through the forest to a viewpoint at the edge of the rim.  Nearby is the Cliff Springs Trail.  This is a short trail with a history of ancient life in the canyon to tell. There are some nice viewpoints, such as the Roosevelt Point and Angels Window, along the road in this area. Moving towards the lodge is the Transept Trail which has some unusual views of the canyon and takes the hiker from the campgrounds to the lodge.  The short Bright Angel Trail begins at the North Rim Lodge and takes the hiker to an impressive view of the canyon. The North Kaibab takes hikers from the North Rim to the canyon bottom and up to the South Rim. Down the road is the Ken Patrick Trail. This hike leads through the forest and then bursts out into some great views into the Grand Canyon.  The Uncle Jim Trail and Widforss Trails offers beautiful views from the points at the end of the trails. Point Imperial is the highest view point at the Grand Canyon has provides a different view, including a close look at Mt. Hayden.
